Everyone agreed that this was the best meal we had while in Longyearbyen! People in our group had bearded seal appetizers, which they said was absolutely delicious, I had reindeer steak, and others had pollock (fish of the day). Portions were generous. The only negative is way too much source. Please ask for sauce on the side if you don’t want soupy meat or fish on your plate. Also, no bread and butter served at dinner. 😭. Some other restaurants had amazing bread and butter to share before meals. But otherwise it was great. Berries tea was good and Norwegian apple juice served in wine glasses was delicious.

Reindeer steak and the lamb are really great(tender) and servers are nice and having great attention to details.

I expected friendly staff and nice ambiance here, but could never imagined food to be so delicious. We had Lightly Smoked and Cured Svalbard Reindeer, Svalbard Cod, Duck Breast, catch of the day (red snapper). Then for dessert we had Arctic Cloudberries, Poached Rhubarb, and a sorbet. Ingredients must be hard to find here. But their chefs are top-notch. The various sauces gave the magic touches onto the dishes. Bravo.
