It was an amazing adventure. I went to the Arctic with high expectations — I wanted to see the Northern Lights, I wanted to see orcas, I wanted to see whales, and I wanted to see breathtaking landscapes. On the one-week cruise with Men of Sea, I experienced all of that — and even more than I expected. It was a wonderful and deeply moving expedition for me. The captain has tremendous experience and knows where to find orcas and whales — we saw them up close, almost within arm’s reach. I am 100% satisfied.

In July 2024, I had the great pleasure of taking part in a 10-day cruise on the north-western waters of Spitsbergen, organized and carried out by "Men of Sea Tours Expcursions". The entire expedition completely exceeded my expectations! I'm not just talking about the extraordinary, although raw beauty of nature itself. Because it was amazing in itself. I'm talking about the excellent organization and the very customer-friendly approach of both the organizers and the captain and first officer of the yacht s/y "Azymuth", on which our crew sailed. The captain showed great interest in making us get the most out of this cruise. He showed us the most interesting places, carried out expeditions to the glaciers, and guided the yacht in such a way that we could encounter representatives of the polar fauna. Thanks to this, we saw seals and walruses and reindeer and lots of birds, but also polar bears and beluga whales. Amazing impressions! We also had the opportunity to fish for cod. The captain knew perfectly well where the best biting places were, taught us how to fish, and also suggested and helped us prepare a number of dishes from freshly caught cod. Everyone from "Men of Sea" showed excellent organization and willingness to help and support us. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know this beautiful, amazing and unspoiled region of the world not from the deck of a giant cruise ship, but from a level close to the water and nature. It doesn't matter what your sea and sailing experience is. The expedition with "Men of Sea" is organized in such a way that everyone can experience extraordinary experiences and in a safe way.
