Diving with Oliver was a very nice experience!! We did the spearfishing tour with him and had a beautiful day, good visibility, lot's of fish and Paua. Ollie is a perfect guide with a nice and relaxed mood. He will teach you how to use a speargun and improve your skills. If you are on stewart island, you definitely shouldn't miss this experience!!! I loved my day out with Ollie and Dive Rakiura! I usually SCUBA dive so a free diving tour was new for me—I had a wonderful time. I was so surprised to find that my day out with Ollie was some of the best diving I've had in NZ, despite having hit all the famous spots. Ollie tailors the experience to the group which was awesome and I can't recommend enough! The other tour folks bailed so it was just me for the day which was amazing! I really appreciated the free diving tips including a few to help get the right angle for photos when free diving! I will definitely be back to Stewart Island for more :) (and to hunt for seahorses).

I've done a lot of things on Stewart Island; tramps, guides - but this has to be my favourite activity I've done. Had a wonderful time in the water with Ollie - he's patient, kind and pretty passionate about the place. Highly, highly recommend as a must do for anyone travelling to Rakiura.
