Staying here was a spectacular treat on our recent trip to Shetland. Dave was exceedingly welcoming, and we really enjoyed all the facilities. The well-equipped kitchen and lounge area really made the place feel like home, and breakfast was delicious. It's clear Dave is putting in the work to make this the gem of the Isles, with some improvements ongoing. It's a short and spectacular twelve minute trip to Lerwick through the valleys, and makes a lovely base for seeing Shetland. As you can see, the view is simply breathtaking, and we can't recommend a stay here enough.

Undoubtedly the best views of any hotel in Shetland. The new owners have brought this lovely hotel back to life. Nice to see. I will return in the future, for sure. Breakfasts were excellent with a vast choice of hot teas and coffee.

The hotel has recently been refurbished by the new owners & has lovely views of the voe. The hotel location is nice & quiet & is perfect for enjoying the view when relaxing in the lounge area after a day of sightseeing. A lovely breakfast is included and is made to order with tea or coffee. As well as a hot breakfast, you can also help yourself to cereals, juice, toast etc. Evening meals are not available but the hotel provides the use of a new kitchen area which can be used by the guests for their own use. The lounge area also has free tea and coffee facilities for guest use. Very helpful hosts who will advise of the best places to visit & even checked restuarant availability in Lerwick for us and booked on our behalf.
