Excellent place to stay if on holiday or work with it being central mainland it makes a great base for the whole island. I had 2 lodges hedgehog and robin hired both were exceptionally clean and well kitted out very comfy beds, plenty towels some local made gifts left for us on arrival. The hot tub was clean and warm, great for after work/exploring Orkney to wind down and relax. Nothing was any hassle for Jemma and her partner excellent hosts. I will definitely return whether it be work or pleasure. Thanks Fraser.

Absolutely beautiful lodges. Night 1 was for my 40th and I have to say it was an amazing night very spacious warm and big inside. I could actually live in one of these easily. The hot tub was an extra bonus especially in the cold weather. Hot tub is outside bur you don't feel the cold at all when your in it as we found out when it started to rain. It added to the great experience. We loved it so much we booked another night and the second lodge hedgehog was just as beautiful a little smaller than robin Lodge and a bit colder but again added to the whole experience. The owner jemma and Graham were lively hosts and I can't fault them at all. We couldn't figure out the oven so a quick call to Graham as how to work it and it was sorted. I would definitely go back a few times a year. Thank you for an amazing stay.

It is pretty good. Much peace and quiet. Sheep and occasionally hens wandering around there, although not interfering with anything. Location is good if you want some peace, it's a short drive into Fintown for some groceries, 15 mins to Kirkwall.
