THE most adorable cafe on the island. I couldn’t choose between the bagel (with smoked salmon from Stewart island) and the chia pudding so I ended up getting both! My partner got the coconut rhubarb cake and she was super happy with it. The atmosphere was so warm and enchanting. The mismatched chairs, cozy sofas, cute little corners for families, toys for children, cafe merch, local art… honestly it felt like we had stepped into someone’s living room and we immediately felt at home. The drinks and food were reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The salmon bagel was served nice and toasted, which I greatly appreciated. The chia pudding had a fantastic berry and rhubarb compote which paired perfectly with the coconut milk base and the crunchy chocolate granola. They also have their own herbal garden from which they make their delicious herbal teas. I cannot wait to come back here! The staff were approachable and friendly, and a nice bonus was that the bathrooms were equipped with free tampons!

Welcoming environment. Could not decide on what to order so will need to come back. Settled on the lemon coconut and almond cake which is GF and the Oat caramel slice. Both delicious!! Coffee was also yum! They offered pouring cream with tea too. Great stop to recharge batteries.
