Trailfinders booked this accommodation for us and we were very pleased with their choice. Hilton was at the ferry waiting for us and gave us a short tour of Oban and tips on things to do and food options. Cindy was very welcoming when we arrived at the lodge. Beautiful room with stunning views and lovely and warm, the electric blanket was a lovely touch especially when you get in at 1am from Kiwi hunting! The hill is very steep up to the lodge and certainly gets your heart rate up but helps to burn of the calories after the nice breakfasts and the delicious local fish and chips! Highly recommended.

The most incredible place to stay on Stewart Island. Absolutely exceptional views, paired with even more exceptional hosts. Cindy and Hilton are truly wonderful - warm, welcoming, and so generous with their local knowledge. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean and birds was pure magic. A very special place that made our time on Stewart Island unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!!

Cindy and Hilton were absolute legends in hosting us on Stewart Island. Don't hesitate in choosing this great location as your hub for the Island activities. Their continental breakfast is substantial, their hospitality unmatched and their location is superb. We left this lodge knowing we absolutely made the right decision. Oh..and the beds were so comfy! The perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary.
