I highly recommend the fish, visit, & dine in Hvannasund with Samson! We had so much fun learning to fish and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Faroe Islands. The views were unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. We were lucky enough to see the puffins and even luckier to be out on the water on a beautiful sunny day. Samson was so helpful while we were catching fish, which made us feel like experts! We caught many fish on our trip, which was very exciting! We were then invited to Myrna’s family home to enjoy local Faroese food and spend a wonderful evening talking about family, culture, and the beautiful life stories living in the Faroe Islands. We could not have asked for a better experience on our first trip to the Faroe Islands. You will not be disappointed!

We booked this tour as a way to end of our Faroe Islands journey and it did not disappoint! Samson was great at finding spots for us to fish and we were rewarded (maybe too easily) with fish the moment we set our hooks down. His expert steering and understanding of the waters also ensured my seasickness did not act up at all during the few hours we were out. The meal we had at Frida and Poul’s was like dining with old friends. We were treated to traditional dishes, as well as the fish we just caught! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested. You will not regret it!

We absolutely had a blast out in the fjord with Samson. Fishing was amazing - we caught a lot fish. Samson prepared everything for us and we even had a small local meal with coffee while he was guiding us through the fjord and telling us stories about his childhood as he grew up there. Afterwards we had dinner with Myrna and Kristian which also was very special. They prepared small pieces of local food to try and then prepared the Fish we caught. We felt very welcome, it felt more like being friends since we ate at their home. I would absolutely recommend this tour. Thanks
