Awesome experience.. We did the 2 hr trail ride. Excellent value and we loved it. Owner was great, really cared for her horses. 25 or so on property and her 4 kids came on the trail ride to help out with our larger group.. Made everything so much smoother.. Ride was just right amount of challenging/enjoyable. Had a great time feeding and getting to know the horses prior.

I’ve spent a lot of time in the North—especially during the years I worked in healthcare in Nunavut—and I’ve met some truly incredible people along the way. But this experience? This was something special. Two of my girlfriends and I are on what we’re calling the road trip of a lifetime, and we were looking for something off the beaten path—something real. What we found with Yukon Horsepacking Adventures was beyond anything we could have hoped for. The horseback ride was unforgettable—through country so beautiful, I found myself in tears more than once. It honestly felt like God was especially busy when He made this part of the world. There was so much care and thoughtfulness put into where we went and how we got there. The horses were well-loved and clearly respected, and while everything was run professionally, it felt more like visiting family than being a client. We felt so genuinely welcome. We even had the chance to visit the sled dogs and see where our guide lives and works—a window into a way of life that felt honest and grounded. It’s not often you get that kind of access on a tour. This was the first trip I’ve taken with my girlfriends since I got married, and it meant the world to have the time, space, and freedom to take it all in. One of the most powerful moments of the entire trip was a conversation we had at the top of a mountain—one I know none of us will forget. After our ride, we were invited to linger—no rush, no rigid schedule. That kind of flexibility is rare and speaks volumes about the heart behind this business. And then came one of the most meaningful parts of the day for me personally: we asked some of the young folks if they’d be willing to take us down to the creek to fish for grayling—a lifelong dream of mine. They agreed without hesitation. We spent hours there, catching one beautiful fish after another, guided by young people who gave us their time and energy so freely. I cried again—grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. To the family who made yesterday possible: thank you. Thank you for your grace, your kindness, and your generosity. You reminded me that there are people in this world who live with open hands and open hearts. I hope the photos show even a fraction of what this meant to us. And I truly hope I get to come back someday. With all my heart—thank you.

Had such a wonderful time riding with Mandy and her son! They were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My horse, Patty, was an absolute sweetheart and made the ride so calming and fun. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience!
