What an amazing experience!! Thank you Manuela and Jeff for one of the most wonderful and unique adventures I and my 5 friends have had. If you’re a dog lover, this is the place for you. Their retired dogs live in the lodge with you, which was an added benefit for us with lots of cuddles. We booked the winter adventure as a girls trip, and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Manuela‘s cooking is top notch, and she and Jeff will make you feel like you’re staying with family. They provide all the warm gear you need, which made all the activities fun and comfortable in -35° weather. From ice fishing to snowmobiling, hot springs and wildlife preserve, and we unanimously agreed dog sledding was our favorite part. Their dogs are adorable, and so loved and well cared for. I can’t wait to go back.

An absolute must for anyone who loves dogs. This place blew my mind and heart wide open and now I will forever want to come back. Manuela, Jeff and the team are kind, genuine and generous people who will go out of their way to make your trip memorable and awesome. The dogs are beautiful and awe inspiring. Sharing a house with them and having a chance to pat them at all times of the day makes a dog lover's heart sing. And of course all the activities are incredible and well organised- dog sledding, hot springs, wildlife preserve, you name it. They take great care of you from the moment they pick you up from the airport, to the moment they drop you off. And Manuela's cooking is delicious!!! Just book your trip and go - you won't regret it!!

Highly recommend!! We did the Takhini Express dog sledding and had a blast. The employees are super friendly, provide great instruction, and have plenty of cold weather gear to loan, if needed. The owners clearly love their dogs and take great care of them. The dogs themselves are an absolute treat to be around - so many funny personalities! It was so lovely to see how excited the dogs were to run (they love it!). 100% will do it again :)
