Spent an amazing week in a glass chalet! Saw the lights several days. Was worried that it would be a wasted trip if we didn’t but there was a lot more to do than we expected. We had a great time going to the animal sanctuary, hot springs, visiting Whitehorse, dog sledding, kick sledding and going for walks through the beautiful property plus eating wonderful food and meeting new friends! The sauna and massages at the resort were fabulous too! Someone from the staff is always around to meet your every need and they all help out whenever needed. It’s very much a family run resort. Definitely recommend the glass chalets as it was incredible being able to be in a nice warm bed and watch for the lights. Still recommend going outside if they are really active. Staff did a great job letting us know when there was any activity even when it was during dinner one night. The only negative is that I gained a few pounds from all the good food and yummy treats at tea time! Highly recommend coming here for a Yukon northern lights experience! One caveat that has nothing to do with the resort is that you have to adjust your expectations of what the lights will look like because they will probably look much better in your photos than what you will actually see. We had one night of really spectacular but everything has to align for that to happen from solar activity to weather Thanks to Toby, Lynn, Patrick, James and James, Kelly, Kaitlin, Mike, Marshall and all the rest of the staff for making our time so special!

My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Northern Lights Resort and Spa. It’s a small luxury resort about 30 minutes outside of Whitehorse. It accommodates a total of 16 people in private chalets with large windows to view the aurora borealis - from your own bed if you want! Or go outside to the communal fire pit to enjoy good company, s’mores and hot chocolate. Dress warmly! The owners/proprietors are on-site to ensure you have everything you could need and their staff were all friendly and attentive. All meals are provided in the main chalet and everything we were served was delicious. The on-site spa offered a variety of treatments, 2 saunas and a small gym. The real star was the beautiful landscape. There were packed trails you could walk or be more adventurous and snowshoe off-trail. There was snowmobiling and dogsledding available which was a hoot and we highly recommend it if you’ve never tried it. If you want a northern Canada adventure with all the comforts of a modern resort, this is the place.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Northern Lights resort. Although we did not see the Northern Lights due to record-breaking snowfall, absolutely no fault of the resort, the experience itself was exceptional and memorable in all the best ways. The food deserves a special mention. It was outstanding. In fact, we never even made it to breakfast because we were still so full from the previous day’s meals. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, comforting, and delicious, especially after long, snowy days. The provided cold-weather outerwear package was perfect. There is truly no need to overpack heavy winter gear if you use what they supply. It was high-quality, warm, and made everything easy and stress-free. What really set this place apart was the small, locally owned feel. The owners were present, engaged, and genuinely invested in their guests’ experience. That personal touch made the stay feel welcoming and special rather than transactional. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to make the dining room a bit more multi-purpose during downtime. With the cold temperatures and limited daylight, movement can be minimal, so offering something like yoga or gentle stretching sessions would be a lovely addition. Even without the Northern Lights, we left feeling grateful, well-fed, warmly outfitted, and truly cared for. We would absolutely recommend this resort
