I just enjoyed a fantastic Shetland Wool Adventure! It was comprehensive, intimate, and unique. It was such a privilege to get to know crofters and knitters and other Shetlanders. I feel like I made many new friends. Thanks for such a lovely time in Shetland.

Shetland essential travel guide: Have been to Shetland for the wool week several times and have considered visiting at a different time of year. So was delighted to receive my copy of this meticulous well researched enjoyable guide! Beautiful inspiring photographs of places to visit on my next trip as well as those which have memories of places visited on previous trips. Thoughtful information has also been provided for those who are less able bodied regarding wheelchair access to see the seals. I have enjoyed reading this travel guide from cover to cover and it will accompany me on my future visits to these beautiful islands. Carol Holmes

The author, Laurie Goodlad, is a professional travel writer and tour guide born and raised in Shetland, so you can be certain this book is informative, accurate and brim-full of suggestions for all types of tourist. Aesthetically, it has been beautifully designed making it an absolute pleasure to read whilst planning where to visit and during your trip when you encounter a location previously overlooked. I can highly recommend this and it should be the first item packed before you depart.
