This is a wonderful place to dine in Lerwick. The restaurant is lovely, comfortable and cozy. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. We had a superb meal. I got the plaice, which was the fish of the day. It was perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful, and accompanied by a fresh salad. My husband got the fish and chips, and (sorry Frankie's) we both agreed it was the best we had on our trip through England, Scotland, and the Shetland Islands. Perfectly battered and fried, and the haddock was so tender and moist. A lovely meal.

The food is wonderful. We had heard that you need to book and so we did we probably got the last table for 2 on a Friday evening when we booked the day before. They also have a "secret" bar upstairs through a door marked "toilets". I only know because our table wasn't ready when we arrived and they sent us up there for a drink while we waited.

Lovely quality food, cooked really well and locally sourced. Staff were friendly and smiley. Easy to book online. It's a bit more pricey than many other Shetland venues but it is very nice so I would recommend trying it if you can. Stock local beers as well
