The main exhibition was very interesting, exhibits have info in Norwegian and English, and we heard a guide giving a talk in German and English. Lots of photos, plus other exhibits (clothing, furniture etc) and mock-ups of rooms in a standard post-war house. Cafe also good; basic coffee and cakes. There were a couple of other rooms with text only in Norwegian, and a viewing tower which offers good views of the town and surrounds.

One of the best small museums in Norway. The exhibit is about the reconstruction time after WW2 Make sure you go to the 4 th floor for the view

The Museum of Reconstruction in Hammerfest, Norway, focuses on the town's rebirth after its wartime destruction by German troops fleeing the Soviet Army.
