If you can book one tour, book this one! It truly was an unforgettable night. Ivar adapts to the needs of the group and takes you wherever the lights are best. We set off early and we went out to a fjord and a frozen lake. We got to go out onto the lake and an explosion of lights happened in the sky, I laid back on the lake and just enjoyed the experience. The cold didn’t bother me too much, but if you don’t dress warmly, you’ll definitely feel it, especially if it’s windy! Oh and don’t worry about needing a camera. Ivar brings one with him and takes shots of you, the group and the lights and shares them with you the next day. Just sit back and enjoy the experience! Truly, thank you Nordland Adventures for a wonderful night

We had a great experience with Nordland Adventures before, during, and after our tour. Ivar was in touch daily for a few days before, letting us know about conditions where we might see the Aurora even before the tour. Impressive! The directions about where to meet him and what to bring were very clear. I knew from other reviews that Ivar will drive all the way to Sweden to see the lights if needed, but fortunately we didn't need to do that. There was a geomagnetic storm and clear skies that night and Ivar knew several places to take us to get the best views. We went to a clearing first while the lights warmed up, then a stunning small ferry port, a bridge over a lake, a sandy beach... every location was absolutely stunning. And he brings camping mats so you can lie on the ground and look up at the lights in comfort!! That was the BEST. He also takes pictures and sends them to you digitally for no extra charge! The day after the tour, Ivar was in touch again and ended up driving us to the airport in the rain. He's a great guy, very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed being with him and the whole group that was on our tour. It was an evening we will never forget!! We give Nordland Adventures our highest recommendation.

Wonderful experiences with Nordland Adventures! The service is absolutely wonderful. Trine was incredibly kind and helpful, and she guided us so well — even with our 3-year-old joining all the adventures. The dogsledding tour with Lars was just amazing and truly unforgettable. A big recommendation for this fantastic team that goes above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing experience in Bodø!
