I had made note of this restaurant when we passed through Vik, and wanted to make sure that we stopped when we were on our way back, and we were very glad we did. The food was excellent, the restaurant was beautiful, the staff were kind and helpful, all in all it was exactly what we wanted after a day exploring Iceland.

We had the duck brûlée that came with brioche and spiral apple - this was interesting and delicious but wish I could have more of the brioche and that the spiral apple was easier to eat. The fish was cooked beautifully and the highlight was the lamb - that Icelandic lamb was so delicious and there’s no lamby taste or smell at all. They were very generous with the sauce for the lamb which wasn’t necessary.. the barley was so so ( could be better)

Enjoyed our dinner there. My cauliflower main was excellent. The beef dish was very good. The roasted cauliflower soup woth truffle oil was very good. The atmosphere with great views of the hills at the back is unique. (We had a family of noisy kids behind us that was a bit of a downer, but no control on that). So overall great dinner. The carrot pasta started was very good.
