This was an amazing opportunity to see the crazy, wild, and beautiful Highlands under the guidance of Siggi, who has visited these places his entire life. Our family of four (two teenagers) enjoyed our 5 hour tour that included seeing Axlarfoss and hiking around the massive and colorful Raudibon crater. Along the way, Siggi answered our questions about the area and Iceland. We learned a lot about glaciers, the Katla volcano underneath the glacier, and other plants in the area and took so many pictures. We highly recommend taking a tour with him! His 4x4 with off-road tires and driving skills easily handled the rough roads and river crossings. We would not have been able to see this part of the country without this excursion. Truly incredible and unforgettable!

Cannot recommend this experience enough! You can tell just how much attentiveness, love and hard work Siggi and Monika have put into this business. My boyfriend and I had a private tour with Siggi today and have not stopped talking about it. We personalized our tour and saw Hólmsárfossar, Mælifell, Axlarfoss, and Bláfjallafoss; also hiked to Rauðibotn Crater! Siggi not only showed us views that we were hoping to see, but pointed out other MUST SEES along the way. He also patiently waited as we took many pictures and videos for over 6 hours. We ended the tour and just had to check out their shop with clothing and other accessories made by his family❤️. It was such a wonderful experience and a memory we will cherish for a lifetime! Thank you again Siggi for such a great time!

My tour with Snaebyli Excursions was the highlight of my time in Iceland! Siggy is an amazing tour guide. He is very friendly and knows all the most beautiful places around the highlands to explore or take pictures. Snaebyli's pricing for this trip was affordable and just a fraction of what other tour companies in the area quoted me. I was so glad to choose this tour company which seems to be a real hidden gem! Best tour ever!
