Great waterfall right off of Route 1. Small hiking trail to see the whole waterfall come down. I liked that the water got separated into 3 waterfalls from one. The river is cool to see, and so is the medium sized waterfall at the very start of the trail. Worth stopping by and checking out!

Such a cool waterfall just along the ring road. We made an impromptu stop. You can get close to the water with a short walk. There are viewing platforms too.

It’s easily accessible with a nice free parking area, and just a short walk brings you to a stunning view of the falls! Not too crowded, peaceful, and perfect for a quick stop to stretch, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of Icelandic nature. Highly recommend pulling over if you’re passing by!
