I don’t usually write reviews but the people at Hotel Nuka have been so kind and accommodating to me. I had some weird logistical things happening and they went above and beyond to make sure I got to where I needed to be, got the room I needed and were so nice about little things like an extra pillow. The little kitchen is very helpful and had what I needed. I slept very well and I appreciate the provided coffee and kettle. So few places provide that in your actual room in my experience in Greenland. The showers are comically small but it got the job done. I would stay here again anytime. I’ve seen some negative reviews about not having a good view. I think that’s just silly. Not every hotel is going to have $1 million views. If you want that you’re going to be paying a lot more somewhere else.

The room is clean and the staff is very friendly. They were giving me lift to the harbor and to the airport. And even the day I was not staying in the hotel, they provide help for me. I am really grateful for that. The bathroom has floor heating, so the floor dry out very quickly. And the room has a small kitchen and with kitten suppliers! There is small fridge, 2 stoves and one small sink. It also provides you dish soap and the brush to clean the dishes. It is good to have this, in case you want to cook your own food to save money. The hotel has an elevator, so it is good for the people with big suitcases or hard to walk with stairs. The breakfast is simple, but with good variety. It provides coffee, milk, orange juice, muesli, hams, butter, liver pate, boiled eggs, paprika slices.

Stayed at this hotel after Icelandair delayed our flight for a night. The rooms were small and basic but extremely clean. Breakfast at the cafe was very simple. Would normally give this place 3 stars but the staff were great. The lady who checked us in was extremely nice and she did her best to get information regarding our flights. We got a prompt shuttle to the airport without any pre-booking.
