On our trip to the northern Finland, we found the coziest little hotel I ever stayed in. Putiikkihotelli Kemi 1932. Located at Kemi railway station, close to the tracks, but due to the thick timber walls, the sound of the trains is not disturbing. A small family-owned business, cleanliness impeccable and service excellent, exceeding many 4-star hotels I’ve stayed in. I told them I was 99% satisfied, but would be 100% satisfied with a few small improvements. When we came back after the weekend, they had already done what I suggested!!!

Beautiful rooms, nice and cosy. The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. Breakfast in the cafe is very good. I really recommend this little gem if you want to stay in Kemi.
