Quite simply put, we had an amazing experience with Saija and her husband during our 40k snow mobile tour. Since we were a bit early in the season and snow came a little bit later this year, we had to shorten the tour a little to 25-30k but in return we got an amazing cultural experience with the ice fishers and more time to enjoy the amazing nature. I've been to Finnish Lapland twice now in 2025 and this remains my favorite day and activity. Thanks again to Vilu Arctic Experience and their team!

Amazing experience, we were picked up from our hotel and dropped back off after our excursion. We had a horse sleigh ride which was an amazing experience, Saija provided us with hot berry juice, extra coats and blankets on top of our snow suits to keep us warm which was a lovely touch. We then had our excursion which was the highlight of our holiday the views were amazing and we even got to see the northern lights.

Amazing people , My partner and I did a tour on christmas day at horse sleigh ride it was amazing we where collected from our hotel early and had a lovely chat on the way to the place; we then met up with the tour guide Sajia and learnt about the horse its job and all the equipment and had a tour around and saw some beautiful views and the northern lights Bring your snow suits !! you will be provided with a blanket and a large coat (which was in great condition and clean) for reference i am 5’2 and it went to my ankles and it was a lovely time we then ended the night with warm berry juice and got taken back to our hotel, the price was amazingly set i would 110% pay more for the service provided and it was so lovely. If you are in Hetta or a near by area please don’t miss out on these amazing people. We also met a couple who did the snow mobiling and why i can’t speak from experience they said they loved it and i don’t see why they wouldn’t.
