We had the jerk chicken. It was very good. The coconut rice is amazing. I had that, my husband had rice with peas. Both so good. Give it a try. So worth it!

We had an excellent meal of Jamaican food the first night of our stay in Dawson City. Leave the car at the hotel and just walk over; nothing is more than 10 minutes away in this small village. The host sat us right away and was friendly, answering any questions we had. They serve Pepsi products (no Coke in Dawson City) and a selection of imported Jamaican beverages. My Ginger Beer paired really well with the food. We ordered Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork which came with rice and plantain. It was delicious. Although we were warned it was spicy, it wasn't over the top hot; just flavourful and satisfying. Great murals and photos on the walls. A short walk to the Yukon River to burn off a few calories or the casino and cancan dancers.
