Café by day and Bar/Bistro by night, Bonton & Company serves delicious local cured meats/salamis/sausages/cheeses on charcuterie-style platters and other delicious plated food, alongside whatever drinks (coffees/alcohol) that suit the time of the day. Set in a beautifully presented wood-cabin interior, my wife and I came for brunch and were most impressed by our sample of delicious cold cuts, pickled eggs in a striking pale blue colour, and a plate of perfectly cooked omelette and kale. For a place frequented and loved by locals and visitors alike, they have really got something good going on. With plenty of reasons to revisit and explore their different brunch and dinner offerings, or to grab some ‘provisions’ to take home, this is a must-visit spot in Dawson City.

My wife and I stopped in for drinks on a Thursday night, and we loved it. The hibiscus whiskey sour and orange margarita were creative, beautifully crafted, and delicious. The cheesecake was excellent. We liked it so much that we came back the next morning for brunch. For brunch, we had braised beef, charcuterie, chilaquiles, mushroom & cheese sandwich, and sweet bread. Then, we returned in the evening for more drinks and food. The wonton soup and corn ribs were fantastic. Reservations are required for dinner, and they fill up days in advance.

Excellent small plates restaurant two sittings 6 and 8pm, excellent charcuterie board, delicious chicken croquettes, filo and ricotta pie, the pork all excellent with a great wine by the glass selection, we eat at the bar and saw some amazing cocktails being made. The team are very efficient and welcoming.
