We recently went on a Polar Bear adventure through Natural Habitat and Great White Bear Tours provided our Polar Rover for the 3 trips on the Arctic Tundra. Lorne was our driver for all 3 trips and he was awesome. He has a keen eye to spot wildlife/bears from far away and he made sure to take us to the areas where we could see the most action. Not only was Lorne a great driver, he assisted our guide with serving lunch and snacks. Lorne was knowledgeable as well as fun to be around. We had a great time exploring the Tundra with our great driver Cory in one of their custom built roving machines. We viewed fantastic vistas and many Polar Bears, including some close encounters. The guide from Natural Habitat Adventures, Lindsay was very knowledgeable and fun. Natural Habitat Adventures put on a fantastic memorable tour.

Daric was absolutely fantastic—skilled, patient, and deeply knowledgeable about both the tundra and its wildlife. His calm confidence behind the wheel made everyone feel safe and comfortable, even on the bumpy old military roads, and he had a remarkable eye for spotting bears and positioning the rover for the best views without ever disturbing the animals. What really stood out, though, were his local ties to Churchill and the way he shared his stories about growing up in the North. Those personal connections and insights added so much authenticity to the experience—it felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed into his world. His storytelling brought the landscape and community to life and gave us a deeper understanding of what it means to live alongside such powerful wildlife. Daric’s warmth, humor, and passion for this place made our time on the tundra truly memorable. Thank you for an experience we won’t soon forget!
