We booked 2 tours with Sub-Arctic Tours in October 2025 & were blown away. We encountered several polar bears in a variety of locations on both days. Our daughters were thrilled to be able to see polar bears in their natural habitat. We’ve already recommended Leroy & his team to fellow travellers & family. He is very knowledgeable & accommodating. As a hobby photographer & local, he knew the best locations to get great shots. We hope to return to Churchill soon & book with Sub-Arctic again!

We had an amazing day out with Leroy in Churchill! Personable, knowledgeable, and skilled at knowing just where to find the wildlife. We saw more polar bears than we ever expected to this early in the season, and we chalk that up to Leroy and his excellent guiding ability. He also was great at tailoring the experience to our wants and desires. Not a cookie cutter tour, which is just what we like, and was made just that much more special with the stories that Leroy shared about Churchill and growing up here. Our day out with Sub-Arctic Tours was a super experience that we would definitely book again if our travels take us to Churchill in the future! Thanks, Leroy!

We took our 2 grandkids on the 6 hour Van tour with Stanley as our tour guide. Quiet at first, he soon interspersed fascinating stories of life in Churchill, as a Ranger sharpshooter, and “beluga cowboy” with a wonderful tour of the area. We followed a mama polar bear and her 2 cubs as well as a couple of males. We saw eagles, Sandhill cranes. He was knowledgeable, good with the kids, answering questions and giving time for exploration. Great tour with Sub-Arctic!
