Mövenpick Hotel Hobart

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon, was greeted by the "chocolate hour." Yummy. From our first step into the hotel, to our last step out, I could not fault our experience. Staff welcoming and accommodating. Our room was lovely; clean and well appointed. The bathroom had a bath, and a rain shower. Housekeeping were polite and unobtrusive. The restaurant staff remembered preferences, e.g. which type of pot of tea, and coffee we liked. It's the small things that add up, which count towards a relaxing stay. Air conditioning in room adjustable; full selection of Fox channels, great service, well appointed room, central to Hobart attractions; all at a reasonable rate. Highly recommended a stay at Movenpick Hotel.

Just returned after a short holiday in Tasmania where we stayed at the Movenpick hotel whilst we were in Hobart. It was a fabulous stay - only wish we had booked longer than our 3 night stay. We had a beautiful high floor room with a nice city and mountain view. The room was modern , very clean and had a very comfortable king size bed. Check in and out was very quick and professionally handled and although the hotel was full with many players and guests attending the Hobart International Tennis event the staff handled the crowds effectively. Breakfast was a standout with a very good selection of continental items plus in our case we could choose from a menu one hot item each day - all items were tasty and well presented. Breakfast service was handled each day by Mr Anand who calmly seated and served guests and explained the choices and locations of food etc. coffee and tea were self service from the machine but you could opt for barista coffee for an extra charge if you wanted, The hotel foyer was not large but had a number of comfortable sofas and chairs which we used while enjoying the complimentary chocolate desserts and cakes served each afternoon- a very nice touch - maybe 3 days Was enough for our waistlines! The hotel was very centrally located so we didn’t use a car during our stay and only picked one up on leaving for our next destination. We enjoyed our stay and thanks to all staff at Movenpick for making it so memorable

We stayed at the Movenpick Hobart for seven nights over Christmas as part of a holiday package. We found the staff to be friendly, efficient and informative. Our requests were always followed up with a smile and without hesitation, even when they were busy. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and very clean. We ate breakfast in the restaurant most mornings and the food, staff and service were excellent. The location was very close to everything including our tour pick up points. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Hobart. Thank you to all staff and management for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
