A wonderful surprise for us. My wife and I had a last minute trip to Hobart and were absolutely delighted with The Waggon. Very modern rooms with tons of space, the latest smart TV, huge comfortable bed and 2 free drinks!! We had dinner in the bar downstairs, great selection and very friendly staff - Paul really looked after us. If you’re after an affordable, clean and fun place to stay - definitely consider the Waggon.

Best value for money in all Hobart during winter. Modern, roomy, fairly quiet, good location and spotless. Located in North Hobart, with a lot of places nearby to go out for dinner, but you have a modern pub just below, with a nice menu to choose from. Beers, wine and spirits from Tassie. Easy check in and check out What else can you ask for? Thanks guys Hope to see you again soon

A Fantastic Stay at The Waggon Hotel – Highly Recommend! We had an incredible stay at The Waggon Hotel for a birthday weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully styled bedrooms—thoughtfully designed but the real standout? The ultra-comfortable bed and pillows—some of the best i've ever experienced in a hotel! And I am fussy when it comes to the pillows. A lovely surprise was the complimentary cocktails, a perfect welcome that set the tone for a great stay. We also had dinner at the hotel, and the food was absolutely superb—every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. However, the true highlight of our stay was the two wonderful owners Paul snd Clay. They made us feel incredibly welcomed and even shared a drink with us on a couple of nights, adding a warm and personal touch to the experience. Their hospitality and passion for the place shine through in every detail. And we can’t forget to mention—the cocktails here are outstanding! We highly recommend The Waggon Hotel and can’t wait to return!
