Wow- talk about a memorable food experience in Kiruna! I have been here quite a few times over the years and always felt a bit meh about the food scene but that era has come to an end! We ordered shiitake soup for a starter and moose for a main. Oh my goodness was it all so good. I even had to ask about preparation because I have never tasted moose so tender and flavorful. Alex is family-owned and everyone was so inviting and it made you feel like you were part of their family. The food was fine dining but the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming… nothing stuffy at all. Definitely my new fave spot in Kiruna and one I will always head back to!

We ate a lot of ‘Stars’ during the last years, but we didn’t expect such a small and fine restaurant in that area of the world. Thanks a lot for such an amazing elk experience…hopefully Michelin doesn’t find that lovely restaurant and Alex is not willed to apply himself for a star.

Very nice family-owned restaurant! Great food and lovely people. Recommend it 100%!
