It was an incredible experience from the beginning to the end. Very convenient by taking us from our hotel to the doghouse ! A briefing to learn how to drive the dog sled, a little bonjour to the dogs and away we go ! One hour ride through the forest, super relaxing atmosphere ! Then a lunch brake for the dogs and us :) A little drink around the fire followed by a delicious meal with local products. We finish with an hour ride back to the doghouse on the lake this time with stunning views ! Thanks a lot for the nice memories :)

Incredible experience with amazing people. The dogs were wonderful and the camp that we sledded to was beautiful. First, the people hosted us with a very well designed plan. You get a talented, energetic team of dogs and a sled to take a 1 1/2 hour drive to a camp in the woods near a lake. As you can see by the pictures many small cabins that are very nice, but no en suite bathrooms, there is a common building with bathrooms, showers, and a sauna. There is a dining cabin for group breakfast and dinner. The food and chefs are excellent. Fires are lit when you arrive, in the evening and early when you wake, all so beautiful, enchanting. The tour we were on was sleds and dogs to the camp, overnight stay, and sleds and dogs back in the morning. There is an orientation how to work with the sled and the team of dogs. It is not hard but takes concentration and focus. (that is why there are no pictures sledding) You stand for the time on the runners on the sled and the dogs love to go, so almost all of the time is enjoying them doing what they love. Your job is to pace them and help on very occasional uphill, that was my "job" and it was a privilege to be a part of that team. Natalie led, taught us, and cared for the dogs, she knows and loves her work. We didn't meet the owner but it was evident that he was involved with this very choreographed event that is the stuff that dreams are made of. I will never forget it. Thank you, Fjellborgs Kennel.

This was one of our best travel experience ever, our daughter was extatic and now wants to work there. We did the 4 days family dogsledding trip and it was magical. We have nothing negative to say about the stay, the food was fantastic, the staff excellent (especially our guide that went above and beyond with our daughter). The cabins are super cosy and the surroundings are beautiful. We hope to go back again.
