Our experience with GoOrkney was absolutely incredible! Despite a bit of rain and chilly weather, we had an unforgettable day exploring the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage sites around Kirkwall. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and lunch at the Kirk Café was a real highlight—delicious food in a cozy, welcoming setting. But what truly made the day so special were our guide, Margaret, and our driver, Leanna. Margaret’s knowledge, storytelling, and passion for Orkney’s history brought every site to life, and Leanna was warm, kind, and made every moment on the road a pleasure. Their warmth and hospitality made us fall completely in love with Orkney. Thank you, GoOrkney, for an unforgettable tour!

Gordon was amazing! We had a wonderful day on the Orkneys with him. As a native of the area, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience and helped us gain a greater appreciation of the interesting history and natural beauty of the area. He made sure everything went smoothly and efficiently and arranged a lovely lunch for us as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better experience. Gordon is awesome

Our day trip with Gordon will remain unforgettable. Particularly noteworthy is that Gordon responded to all our requests. He is a very friendly excellent knowledgeable guide with a lovely manner.
