Best hotel on our tour of Norway. Yes, the rooms are small but the advantages far outweigh this one disadvantage. The biggest plus is the black out curtains. These are far and away better than any hotel we have stayed at over the past week. This was really appreciated as we adjusted to the 24/7 light over the past week. The other plus here is the cheap but delicious buffet meal. Yes, there is an element of a canteen with the main course but for around 22GBP each we enjoyed tasty homemade soup with croutons and wholemeal bread, unlimited side salad, a hearty main meal, a dessert and coffee. While in Hammerfest it’s worth visiting the museum (about WW2) and walking up the zig zag path to an excellent view point. Some nice shops too. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Friendly and warm staff. Clean, warm and comfortable rooms and totally delicious cheeseburger! Mum loved it!
