Everything about Sorrisniva was above and beyond our expectations. Booking our stay and excursion package, airport transfers and check-in went very smoothly. The ice hotel was an amazing experience and is truly impressive. The Wilderness lodge and our river room were beautiful. The food was the best I had in Norway at both Lavvu and Maku. The excursions were well planned and made for great memories. And I can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, making a wonderful experience that much more enjoyable.

We were very lucky to have this place on our list! Although we had no idea the ice hotel wasn’t finished yet, they still allowed us to join a construction tour, just a week before it was finished when the artists were still working on each room, and to meet some of the artists, as well as have a drink! What an amazing structure! The dining was delicious, Ben was a great bartender with perfect suggestions, and his dining service was excellent. We were also glad to FINALLY see the northern lights for the first time while staying here, after 5 nights of straight fog.

This review is just for the Iglu Hotel visit. It’s quite nice so far, if you haven’t visit another ice hotel so far. I compare it with the one i visited in Lapland last year, close to Rovaniemi. That was way better than this one and the entrance fee was half. I know Norway is more expensive and it’s worth to visit, but 70€ for 2 pax is a lot. They put a lot of efforts in it to build so I am glad I can support the future of building it every year
