A truly lovely restaurant. We made reservations however the restaurant wasn’t very busy. This may have just been good timing for us but this restaurant was amazing. Our table ordered the salad, the cod (restaurant’s recommended dish, lamb and scallops and everything was incredible. My favorite dish was the cod - it was paired with an amazingly flavorful pesto and mashed potatoes. The fish was super tender and fresh. My friend ordered the pavlova for dessert and said it was incredible. It was the perfect meal! Thank you for the delicious meal!

We stayed at a hotel near this restaurant and decided to give it a try as there wasn’t many options around. To our surprise, the scallops were incredibly good and the cod was delicious as well!

A bit off the main route around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, but absolutely worth the detour into Stykkishólmur. It's a cute little village with this hidden gem of a restaurant. We even had a lovely conversation with another couple that was sitting in next to us while we were there. Seating is a little tight to maximize the small space of the dining room, but that just means you can meet the people next to you. The scallops are from the Breiðafjörður, which is the bay the town sits on and were delicious. If we ever find ourselves on the peninsula again we will absolutely be having dinner here again as the meal was just as good as one of the famous seafood restaurants we went to in Reykjavik.
