Popped in today on our trip through Husavik not knowing what to expect - staff were very friendly, spoke English (and put up with my mothers bad Icelandic) and were very helpful. It’s essentially an American Diner type, connected to a last chance store and a petrol station, but the food was delicious and very filling. We highly recommend :)

Apparently, it’s pretty common to eat restaurant style fast food at a gas station here in Iceland. The fish and chips were pretty good even though they were shaped like McNuggets. Seems legit enough and definitely convenient at 3pm in the afternoon when everything else in town is closed (including the main Fish and Chips restaurant on the harbor).

This was like a typical fast food joint in kiosk by the petrol pump. So if you want something that is grab and go, or a quick dine in, this is a decent option in Húsavík .. the hot dog and chicken nugget were good. We found the French fries super salty, so much so that we had to throw them away :(
