This hostel was so friendly! We didnt stay here but we did stop in to find something to eat. They had a vegan soup buffet and if was delicious!! The man behind the counter was so helpful on explaining things as this was our first time. Coffee was amazing as well.

After reading the last review of this place I felt I had to come on here and leave a review of my own. I had a great experience at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it! I have gluten and dairy allergies, and was able to find something to eat no problem, it felt like the food was home cooked and the coffee was really good! I came in for lunch on a weekday and it was very quiet, and the staff were very friendly. AND the meal was under $50 for myself, which so far in my experience of Iceland, is hard to come by! So if you are passing through as a tourist I’d definitely recommend it if you want to stop in somewhere and sit down (you do order at the till and they bring it to you) :) takk fyrir!!
