A legit burger place! Loved the vibe taste portion! If you like spicy go with the burnout! Reasonable price considering icelandic prices of everything! We had the burger that came with plenty of fries! The restaurant itself was cozy! Food came in about 5-10 minutes after ordering. The burger was juicy, tender and very tasty!

As an American visiting Iceland, finding really good burgers isn’t always easy when traveling. But Taste in Akureyri nailed it. The burger I had was amazing — super juicy, perfectly seasoned, and with that charred flavor that lets you know they’re doing it right. It checked every box for what I look for in a great burger. The fries were just as good — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The restaurant itself is small, with limited seating inside, but they also have outdoor seating, which adds to the charm. It gave me that familiar comfort you don’t always expect when traveling. And then… they had Mountain Dew! Not something I typically see abroad, it was a good surprise! If you're in Akureyri and craving a legit burger, this is the spot. Good food made right. I’d come back if I find myself in this town again.

We found this place while touring Akureyri, Iceland. The food and service here is truly amazing. The flavors compliment your pallet with every bite. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We are here both days we were in the city. We had the Fish and Chips, Kickass Burger, and the fake love burger. The shakes are top tier. Do yourself a favor and grab the flavor you will remember!
