Could not recommend Ivan any higher. Booked a private sunset cruse to the icepack and viewed the icebergs up close. Very knowledgeable about Greenland and the wildlife. Floated along in the icepack sipping hot tea and biscuits while “listening “to the ice. Highly recommend his services.

I had a very pleasant and awesome discovery of the Greenlandic landscapes around Ilulissat with Ivan who is an excellent guide and he has been very flexible to organize very nice excursion for me even if it was a last minute call. I truly recommend going on an expedition with Greenland Backcountry.

Greenland Backcountry provided us with a great full-day experience on his boat where we were able to see the coastline around Ilulissat, hunt for whales, use photo opportunities for icebergs and feel the powers of nature. Highly recommended! Axel
