BEST restaurant I’ve ever been to! We went to Hugo to celebrate two special birthdays. Hoping for an evening of fine dining, excellent wines and good company. We were not disappointed! We started with cocktails, I didn’t see anything on the menu that took my fancy but the bartender asked me a series of questions and then mixed a blueberry, almond and vanilla number for me - which I loved! We had the 6 course Menu Hugo with wine pairing. Each course that came was more amazing than the previous course. The dinner just kept getting better and better. My personal favourite was the elk tartaar, the texture of the meat was so tender it just melted on my tongue. The staff were great! We were 2 Finns and me (English) and they were very accomodating. I highly recommend this restaurant in Oulu and I will be returning next time I am in Oulu!

I highly recommend this restaurant in Oulu, which stands out as one of the finest I've had visited. The cuisine is impeccably prepared and elegantly presented. The staff members are consistently courteous and readily assist with any inquiries, enhancing the overall dining experience. The wine selection is magnificent. The ambiance exudes a sense of warmth and comfort, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons. Additionally, the convenience of ample parking directly in front of the restaurant is noteworthy. The attention to cleanliness extends to the restrooms, maintaining the restaurant's commitment to hygiene and guest satisfaction. The location is great.
