We enjoyed a truly wonderful week at Nivunki Village. Everything was simply perfect. The friendliness, warmth, and attentiveness of the entire team were exceptional and made us feel welcome at every moment. The kotas are beautifully designed and wonderfully cosy—we could even admire the northern lights while lying in bed, which was an unforgettable experience. The food deserves special praise. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared, highlighting local ingredients and traditional recipes with great finesse. We still dream of the turnip starter, the incredibly tender reindeer fillet, and every single dessert. We also especially enjoyed the sauna, with its spectacular location and the possibility to cool off in the lake. Finally, we greatly appreciated the opportunity to borrow high-quality winter jackets, warm trousers, gloves, and excellent snowshoes, which made our hikes and excursions both comfortable and enjoyable. In short, everything was perfect—and Nivunki Village will remain a very special place for us.

As an avid traveler, I can honestly say this was maybe the top trip of my life. The accommodations were absolutely outstanding. The Kota was warm and inviting with a luxury feel. Everything from the heated floors to the robes to the linens were top of the line. The food was insanely delicious. Eating reindeer meat and moose sirloin for the first time in my life was one of the highlights of this trip. The service and the friendly staff were unmatched. They were kind, hospitable, and would always go above and beyond. The excursions were top notch. We did the husky dog sled tour, the reindeer sleigh ride and the snowmobile tour. We also used the snowshoes and did the hike around Reindeer Loop. We also did the cold plunge in the lake and utilized the sauna. We are already dreaming of going back. And by the way, we didn’t even see the northern lights. If you can still blow expectations out of the water without seeing northern lights, that's evidence of an absolutely superb experience and product.

The best thing I've ever done and best money I've ever spent. Nivunki is small, personal, and intimate. The staff are exceptional, so warm and welcoming and they really get to know you. I learned so much from all of my guides, and loved spending time with them on our daily excursions. I was not expecting gourmet food in Lapland as well! Nivunki is the only place you should stay in Lapland, can't wait to come back next year!!
