Really wonderful in every way. Service was attentive but relaxed and not over-fussy. Lovely calm atmosphere and decor. We opted for local specialties from the a la carte menu, (beetroot salad starter, reindeer and arctic chat for mains and cloudberry and buckwheat semifredo dessert). Food was exceptional - beautiful presentation and cooked to perfection.

For such a small town we did not expect to find such an exceptional restaurant. From the beautiful interior to the friendly staff and exquisite food, this was our favourite meal by far when in Finland. Between the family (there were 8 of us), we ate the vast majority of dishes on the menu and each and everyone was beautifully presented, filled with unique flavours and interesting. If you want to treat yourself to a delicious meal then this is the place to do it. You can also do the tasting menu paired with wine (although your whole table must opt for it). We will definitely revisit here when we come back.

A delicious dinner: 5-course menu with delicately cooked specialties of the region, nicely dressed. In an elegant yet cosy atmosphere. Service was very good, we felt welcomed. We really adored everything we got to try and loved the interior of the restaurant!
