22.12.2025 At first my wife said "there's a five-star restaurant right next to us. About a kilometer away". And I was like "Oh, here in the wilderness?!?!?" Then we walked "alone" with Nicolas and after a while the other children were called on sleds to come there too. And oh my god... THE BEST steak of beef tenderloin and reindeer sirloin, that I've ever eaten anywhere in Finland!!! 😲😲😲 The evening cost 368€ (family of 6) and it was worth every penny. And we've been to quite a few "top restaurants" from Helsinki to Kilpishärve!

If you're already thinking about going to Lapland and also appreciate peace and quiet, this resort is highly recommended. The food (both breakfast and dinner) is truly fantastic. The sauna and activities are perfectly organized. We were lucky enough to be here in -38 degrees Celsius and, of course, rolled around in the snow a few times during our sauna visit. (Highly recommended!) Riita is also a wonderful hostess, as are all the staff. You'll want for nothing.

The tableware and interior design are beautiful and elegant, but the best part is the wonderful, welcoming staff and the absolutely incredible food.
