My recent stay at the Cahkal Hotel was truly exceptional, making it my favorite hotel experience to date. Its location was incredibly easy to reach via public transportation, making the journey smooth and stress-free. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth. What truly impressed me was their ability to remember our names and preferences, striking a perfect balance: attentive and discreet, never overly talkative, yet always available instantly. The hotel's atmosphere exuded comfortable luxury. The living room, with its constantly burning fire and abundant, soft seating, felt just like a grand home. The absence of televisions in the rooms was a refreshing touch, encouraging true relaxation. The hotel's activities were smoothly run and highly professional, adding effortless enjoyment to our visit. For drink enthusiasts, the Cahkal offered an excellent wine list and expertly crafted cocktails, available throughout the day. The luxury bedding ensured a truly superb night's sleep. Private sauna bookings were a highlight, with plenty of availability for tranquil escapes. Every space was beautifully and tastefully decorated, perfectly framing the stunning landscape views. The Cahkal Hotel truly masters the art of hospitality.

A wonderful stay with an exceptional sauna experience! I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the true highlights of the hotel is the sauna. It’s easily one of the most impressive I’ve experienced in Finland. The design allows you to enjoy a beautiful scenic view of Saana while relaxing, which truly elevates the experience. The room was also very comfortable and came with great views, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the staff were fantastic, and their hospitality really stood out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and cozy stay!

Wonderful hotel!! We recently spent 18 days in the Nordics and this hotel was definitely a highlight. From the friendly service, gorgeous rooms, variety of activities and amazing food, makes this hotel a must if you are planning a trip to Kilpisjarvi area.
