The trip to Torres del Paine and to the Milodon Cave was clearly the highlight of my stay in Punta Arenas. The experience was complete thanks to the excellent work of the guide Gonzalo (together with the driver and the photographer, who were amazing), who demonstrated deep geographical and historical knowledge of the entire area, clearly explaining each stop along the journey, always in a polite and inclusive manner. I highly recommend the experience, especially if possible with this guide, as I had friends who took the same tour with another guide and unfortunately had a very different experience.

We did both the Isla Magdalena and the King Penguin tour with Caminos travel. Both tours are very recommendable and we liked it very much, although we liked the King penguins a little better, if you have to decide for one tour. Caminos is a great operator that was well organized and everything went smoothly. Fernando was a great guide who gave us a lot of information about the area, the culture and history :) and Javier made sure that we caught the ferry on the way back from the king penguins, so we are very grateful for that 😊

I took the trip to Fuerte Bulnes. Maria is a great guide, she has lots of knowledge about the history of the place as well as the the plants and the geography around there. We got a bonus of a short lovely 2km hike in the forest/ coast nearby. A great time to spend the afternoon and enjoy nature as well
