My husband and I spent two nights at the Peaks for my Birthday celebration. Beautiful hotel and rooms, location was perfect. My one big complaint was our room location. We realized when we booked that our room would face the alley. Our room was 224. The first night we heard what appeared to be garbage trucks at 5 am, luckily we were able to go back to sleep. The second night at 3:30 am we had a Sysco food truck make a delivery to what I assume the restaurant next door. This truck was parked outside our window. Then a cargo van pull up to make some kind of repairs at a business across the alley. at 5 am. Not much sleep happened that night. I did make a complaint at the front desk, apparently they have had complaints in the past. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, but would ask to be put in a room at the other end of the hall. Or splurge on a room facing the front of the street.

If you are staying in Banff, it’s worth being right downtown on Bear Street. The hotel was really wonderful! The rooms were clean, beds super comfortable, and decor/view was modern and beautiful. At the last minute the hotel offered to upgrade us to a Loft room for a minor fee and I’m so glad we did that. The extra room and kitchenette was a great idea for the four nights we were there, not to mention the view! We would 100% stay here again and recommend to anybody staying in Banff! The parking garage was easy in/out but would be tight for a huge SUV/full size truck.

The location of the hotel was very near to the city and it was super nice. The interior was super clean and the staff were super accommodating. Me and my family stayed on the top floor at the end of the building and the view of the night sky was very beautiful. The atmosphere was very nice however there was only one bathroom for a room of 6 people.The pool was in the sister hotel on the other side of the road and I went during winter so the experience was not very good. However, overall a great experience.
