Met my husband here at the only American bar in Antarctica. It doesn’t have any windows which I think is crazy because it’s daylight all day for half the year but I guess it would be colder if they did have them.

The beer was solid—literally frozen! I was inside Gallagher's Pub, but the broken windows made it as cold as outside. I tried to free the frozen beer from the icy table with a hammer, but only managed to crack the glass and break the beer in half. Half of it is still stuck to the table! Unique experience, but definitely not your average pint.

Came 'ere with my bois. The atmosphere was awesome, the servants were friendly. It was good overall. The beer was finally cold enough.
