Scott's Hut

Scott's Hut is located at Cape Evans, and it's generally accessible during most Antarctic expeditions. The hut itself is fairly spacious, with many original items left behind from the era, such as food and candles—though some have been restored in modern times. Inside, there are numerous emperor penguin specimens, as well as seal skins blackened from being burned for warmth.

Charming place, arrived during a blizzard and have to wait in line for 10 mins with an assortment of 🐧, 🦭 and walrus to warm our hands, flippers and feet inside. Lots of memories, will come by again ... 🥹

I love how the place got this nice modern update, yet I do not understand why penguins took over even the cloth hanger as of now. Never had such a tasty pizza since my last time in Positano.
