Staff, both house keeping, expedition leaders and ship crew were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We had an incredible experience absolutely enhanced by some serious hardwork. Safety is a clear priority and amen for that, as we all live to holiday another day having gone where many have died before us! (Maybe read up on the interesting history of Antarctica exploration before booking). Just a gentle reminder: the runway in/out is gravel and has no flight tower therefore the skilled pilot/airline taking you in/out of Antarctica has to use their eyeballs not the usual technology to achieve a safe flight. Anyone with a brain and who has experience of the outdoors in a variety of places will understand that nature can be massively unpredictable and this could potentially have an impact on your trip to Antarctica. It is, after all, Antarctica not the Mediterranean. If you want to make sure you have a trip that is exactly 5/10/14 days, whatever, and is glued to an itinerary like a rinse and repeat McDonald's menu then this is not a trip for you. You are going to Antarctica not to your local Tesco for some frozen peas.

Consummate professionals delivering a superior experience. Our trip with A21 was an exceptional experience from start to finish. They combine meticulous attention to detail and a strong safety culture with a genuinely fun, engaging expedition atmosphere. The team’s deep knowledge of Antarctica and polar operations was evident every day, and their confidence and professionalism allowed everyone to relax and fully enjoy the adventure. The trip felt seamless, well-run, and truly special. We would happily recommend Antarctica 21 to anyone considering an expedition to Antarctica.

Can’t say enough about our recent Antarctica express air cruise! What an adventure, and perfect for those who can’t afford to take weeks of leave from work but still want to experience the 7th continent safely and comfortably. Every member of the staff was dedicated to our comfort and acted in every way to ensure each guest had a positive experience. The Ocean Nova is an older smaller expedition ship and after this experience I may never get on a bigger ship again. It was THAT positive. AND at a significant savings over the big lines! If you are thinking you’d love to go to Antarctica but you don’t have weeks of vacation, please don’t delay, you only live once! Check out Antarctica 21!
